Populating a property

In the previous guides we have discussed how to create a property and how to add properties to subject types. Once you’ve done this you are ready to start populating the defined property types with values. Properties can differ per subject, and thus you also populate them per subject. Have a look below as we populate the location property for a subject. Once you’ve learned to populate a property for one subject, you can repeat this for others.

1. Click "Subjects"

2. Click on the subject, please note it must be of the Subject type that you have created a property for. In our case, we defined a Location property for the subject type "Temperature Sensor"

3. Click on the cog wheel to edit the subject

4. Pin a location by clicking on it on the map.

5. Save your changes
